1. Roomba j7+ from iRobot

The Roomba j7+ is iRobot's most intelligent robot vacuum to date. Its biggest innovation is a camera-based obstacle detection system that makes use of built-in AI to detect objects like charging cords, shoes and the dreaded pet waste most other robots can't avoid (and often plough right through). This is their least expensive auto-empty model, and although it's not equipped with certain features that are found on more expensive models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's still an excellent choice if you're willing to sacrifice a bit to save hundreds of dollars.

The Q5+ is noticeably gentle around obstacles such as table legs and walls and walls, which makes it an excellent choice for homes with lots of furniture. It's also very thorough when it comes to getting rid of dust bunnies which is a problem where many cheaper robot vacuums fall short. The technology used to navigate in the Q5+ is fantastic too, with very little missed corners and along walls.

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a great option for those looking for an automated vacuum that can do everything.

But if you want to save some cash or simply don't care about the limitations of this robot, there are plenty of other options available with a wide range of eufy models for considerably less. The eufy Qrevo Curv, for example is less expensive and offers the same experience in the app, but with additional features such as stair climbing, a full-function dock, and superior overall vacuuming performance on bare floors as well as high and low-pile carpets.
